I am happy to say I am done Christmas shopping. The office closed early and I found the stuff I wanted for Boss, the complete Theme Gift has been achieved. The word of the year is Burnout. We share a theme this year.

I ran into my former boss, the Other Great Boss, at the supermarket this evening, and we hugged and exchanged a few sentences above the din of the packed store. He is still Seeking too. We all need to get together and contemplate life in 2005. Maybe we should all be spending it together. Just a thought.... I shouldn't frighten you young'uns with the idea that people can be in their 40s and 50s and have lots of education and experience and still trying to figure out what they will be doing for a living from year to year, and yet, it is so. We are not corporate types, we are surfers of the waves of legal shit. The surf is running high, and we are not in a good position to catch the wave. We need a Power Happy Hour, early in 2005. Personally, I've played defense long enough and I'm ready to play offense. I've seen the defense and I'm definitely not scared.
