I'm still dangerously "Chocolate and Rocket Launchers" level PMSed, but today was also a good day. Work was quiet, very very quiet, but a dicey stress-inducing situation lurking below the water resolved itself very nicely, and a long funny phone conversation followed, and all is well in Dilbertworld, at least, this week. The Christmas lights were all they were described to be, and more. If we have a brownout in the next two weeks nobody has to ask why. These people don't just put lights on their houses, they BUILD things to light. Clark Griswold would fall to his knees in wonder.
Plans are falling into place for the New Year, I feel ambitious, more positive and far less likely to actually use a rocket launcher. I am burping Calamari Ricardo, and have a generous portion of grilled mahi and zucchini in the fridge for tomorrow's dinner. Williams-Sonoma delivered the yogurt maker already! THAT was fast! I have Stonyfield Farm organic in the fridge, it will be the starter for the future organic yogurt supply.
Now I willl crawl into bed with my latest knitted bandage and dumb tv, because I'm so full of food and wine I'm like a sleepy cat.
