Especially for May, when we should be sweating our asses off. That week of heavy rain may have been inconvenient and expensive (see: skylight), but the aftermath is FABulous. I actually have the balcony doors opened up and the fans on, there's a delightful cool breeze, and i'm road-testing, er, bed-testing, the duvet cover tonight. It's going to cool off into the upper 50s! In MAY!!!
I walked three miles this morning, and I'm so glad to get back to it. The week of rain was a setback.
I promised I'd post every day in May, I didn't say they'd be long and profound essays about life. I do have topics I'll get to, but tonight is a shameless filler post. The first Harry Potter movie is on HBO, and Sophie wants me to watch it with her, it's one of her favorites.
I need a new knitting project, because while I also loves me some Harry Potter, I like it as accompaniment to knitting. I'm plugging away on a bright pink afghan for Delaney, and I've finished a baby afghan for one of the Asheville inlaws - did I take a picture yet? No. Did I make it to the Post Office yet? Um, no.
Wait, I think the Sorting Hat is deciding Harry's house in the other room. Sophie and I can't miss that.
More substance to follow, I swear.
Oh, i dont know. Sorting hats are pretty good substance. Enjoying the poats, even though i dont comment much!
