I'll be Mayor of the Animal Hospital in No Time.

And no, this time it's NOT Murphy.

Out of the blue, and for no reason I could identify, Sophie developed the Urgencies. For 48 hours, she alternated between anxiously throwing herself in front of me to go outside RIGHTNOWRIGHTNOW!!! or skulking off to poop in the (carpeted!) dressing area in the master bath. She didn't want to bother me, I looked busy.

I had a 3 hour meeting this afternoon, and came home to find she'd exploded again. I called the vet, and they saw her at 4:30.

And nothing obvious is wrong. She's eating, she's perky, her weight and temp and every visible thing is just fine - but she's pooping randomly and without control. She even pooped on the floor at the desk at the vet's office as we were checking out (over $100 later).

She's on Metronidazole and a canned gastro diet - she reports that it is DEE-licious! And we'll see how she is tomorrow.

I'm two visits away from Mayor on Foursquare. I'll be there by the end of July. Insert your own jokes about buying an election here.

Good grief!! Babygirl Sophie, you are supposed to be the young, healthy one!

Still reading, not commenting much due to massive workload. It's what happens when you are the "survivor" after massive layoffs.
