from a small, whimpering dog didn't result in much beyond a quick pee and a return to the bed. He settled down for a bit, I went back to sleep for about an hour, and he ate breakfast and poopied as usual at 6:30. I drank coffee and felt like absolute crap, but I can't be mad at the poor little baby. He wasn't just randomly screaming because he wanted me to leap up and pop open a different can at 3 a.m., or better yet, go find an all-night seafood restaurant, like Someone Else demands in the wee hours. He is still uncomfortable after his huge dental experience, and I'm not sure whether the pain meds are helping or just giving him the runs. He is eating and drinking just fine, but he's definitely sore and grumpy.
I consumed enough coffee to shower without drowning and apply makeup without poking my eye out, and made it to a meeting I really wanted to attend to get a better understanding of these really cool FHA loan products that let you buy a fixer-upper and fix it after closing. (BTW if you are in Central FL and want to buy a fixer-upper to live in and don't have a huge hunk of cash for fixing up or downpayment, email me at bossylittledogATyahoo.com. (replace AT with the symbol, of course). I might be able to help you out - I got a guy (a smart mortgage guy, that is) who knows how to make it work, and it's NOT as scary or hard as some people, including some other agents, make it sound. If you want to buy one as an investment we can make that work too, but you will need a bigger down-payment.) But I digress....
I came home right after the meeting, skipping another meeting I'd ordinarily have wanted to attend. I opened the front door and inhaled - Oh noes. Murphy had a small accident in my bedroom. This would have been no biggie if it had been confined to one place, but apparently in his panic and confusion, he sort of...ran in circles. My carpet was splattered with runny shit confetti. It's a good thing I hate the carpet anyway.
I hope he starts feeling better soon - this is wearing us both down to a nubbin.
I put a couple little finger tip kisses on your forehead. One for more sleep and also one for tiny doggie to feel better very soon. Oh my word Grrl, Sleep deprivation doth suck!
