We had that same thing happen, what, a week ago? It was 76 on Friday, Saturday we had snow and 30s for a high. By Tuesday we were back in the 70s again but with 40+mph winds. I hate Oklahoma springs--actually, we don't have spring, we go right into summer....
We followed the path I'd feared - turn off heat, turn on air conditioning. We went from nights in the 40s and 50s and days in the low 60s to days in the mid-80s, literally overnight.
No kidding - I'll have to ride as the sun is coming up. But, because I won't be in a car on an hour long drive to work, I could do that. ;-)
She did lose that newborn look fast, didn't she? She'll be a month old in 5 days, and looks 3 months. She's blasted through newborn-sized stuff and is in 3 month size.
She is adorable! I'd love to be a grandma but DD is only 19 and says no way lol! Thank you for stopping by my blog; I loved reading all about your story - the parallels with my own brain thang were amazing :) It's been very helpful.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful baby. She does not look like a newborn at all.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the bike rides whilst you can. Soon it will be too blazingly hot to do it.
