in the White House now? Imagine how different everything would be.
And while it's easy to blame BushCo - outright fraud definitely gets a fair share of the blame - what the hell were Gore's handlers thinking, that they didn't air this? This would have been a tipping point, and a major one. It could have made the margin too damn big to steal. I'm so depressed. Can't we twist his arm hard enough to make him run again?
I often think about how different things would be if Al were in DC where he belongs. I wouldn't have to look outside everyday at that sad yellow ribbon hanging on my tree. I wouldn't have to try to understand Medicare legislation obviously designed to benefit HMOs. Hummer owners wouldn't be getting $25,000 tax write-offs. *sigh* Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteI read this post right before I left on a trip to see my mom and didn't have time to comment.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that America deserves to have an honest considerate person at the helm. If progressives, democrats, and moderate republicans don't get their shit together we may never get another chance to find out
This whole topic depresses me to no end. Also all the voting irregularities (see www.bradblog.com ). Texas has some new republican primary shit going on. I wonder if that might make people stand up and take notice?
OT-Whatever happened to Gore's idea going around for starting a cable news channel?
Sorry to ramble.
