10 YEARS AGO - This is the tough one, I have to count on my fingers. I think 10 years ago I was working in a small company we were taking through a bankruptcy, and hunting for the house I'm living in now. I think that was the year I spent a week living in an oceanfront condo in Coronado while doing a document production in San Diego. (Hmmm, do you think maybe this is why they were bankrupt?) Wild times.

5 YEARS AGO - Working for the Big Homebuilder Which Must Not Be Named, traveling a lot, rediscovered knitting after a long hiatus because boring business trips were killing me. This was before we were hit by the cancer tidal wave and evrything changed.

1 YEAR AGO - Spent a boatload of money remodeling my kitchen and was promptly hit by three hurricanes in a row. Lived for a week without electricity. I don't recommend it.

FIVE SNACKS - This is tough because I'm really not a big snacker. Most of these things double as meals, which says a lot about my nutrition.
