Read and reflect.
BTW, it's raining like hell out there now - a tropical depression has settled off the coast and is going to dump rain on us for a couple of days. It may have a name by tomorrow - Ophelia, I think. It's going to be hard to get the dogs to agree to go out later. It's going to be even harder to have to take them out. It's so loud in here at the moment, the pounding rain drowns out almost everything. Hurricane season is only half over. This one is just going to dump about a foot of rain, but the winds won't be that high, or so they are saying now. I am not worried, it's too close to the coastline to pick up any serious development over warm water.
I've almost finished the back of the green cardi and as I was walking the dogs at 5:30 a.m., the air was actually, while far from chilly - refreshing. Last night when Girlchild and I walked the dogs we both remarked that it was actually tolerable to walk after the sun goes down - it was comfortable, rather than feeling like we'd climbed into a dryer full of hot, damp towels. I'm reminded that the green cardi will be useful and will feel really nice in about 90 days. Or so.
Baby blanket - coming along. Damn, it takes a lot of stitches on a size 3 needle, but I do love the Feather and Fan. If the sun comes out this weekend, many pictures. I've been needled for doggie updates.
