Almost done with the brown striped bag, I'm on the second I-cord around the top. (For the non-Constant-Companionated, the top of the bag has three rows of an I-cord bind-off, the first row works in the holes for the bag's straps, the next two are reinforcement.) I'm not sure if the blues from the Boys will be a CC bag or some other bag, but they are destined for a bag. But right now I'm thinking it's time to cast on a sweater. Yes, it's well over 90 every day and thundering every afternoon, but if I want a cardigan in November I need to start that sucker now. My next fiber-task will be to pick up the Softball Cotton shawl and crochet on it until sleep overtakes me tonight.
The pond filter is clean and the frogs said Hell Yeah! I ordered like $60 of algae-fighting products online. That pond is an expensive little indulgence at times. I did some necessary shopping and cleaning, still need to hit Yon Depot for another pendant light for the track and to return two extra pieces of cabinet material. I also need patio furniture, and even though July 4 is still a week away, even in FL the patio furniture is slim pickings. It's so annoying, we are in a patio furniture year round world, but our stores are national and are stocked for the Midwest's needs. So I need to jump on an inexpensive table and chairs, in anticipation of the Pouring of the Patio this week. Have you heard about the concrete shortage? There is one, it's hit the local news many times. Home Improvement Guy has had to maneuver quite a bit to get a truck to come my way.
And speaking of trucks, I had a call weeks back that my last cabinet would show up tomorrow, but no confirming call scheduling delivery. I'm assuming it's not tomorrow, because I am going to work like a normal human and not drafting the Boy to come sit here and wait, because he has a closing. If the truck comes it will be very lonely. The dog has not mastered opening the garage door and signing for a delivery. I'm assuming they will call me tomorrow to tell me when the cabinet will be delivered.
I love to come home and find packages on my porch. I Loathe sitting here waiting for them.
