Me v. Chase Mastercard: I won. They posted the payment to my account, back-dated it to the date it left my bank account, and removed the "late charge." I don't have to ask the CEO to flog anyone after all. Darn. Just kidding, I really didn't think it would go beyond my exasperated fax and the detail from my bank statement, and they did see the error of their ways and fix it. So we're sort of friends again, but I will never trust their online system again. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice....
