I love it! Somehow I thought I'd be Lucy. I"m not so sure about the bamboo needles, though.

Road trip knitting: I'm thinking it's going to be the Lo-Tech Sweat. I haven't touched it in two weeks, it's a good time to make some progress on it. I'm well aware that there have been no finished project photos on this blog in a very long time, and it's embarrassing.

I'm driving to my destination this afternoon so I can hit the records office at the courthouse as soon as it opens, and I don't want to make the drive in the dark because a portion of it is on a highway I've driven often in the daytime, always thinking, "Damn, I'd hate to get a flat tire here in the dark." (It's a two lane highway through miles of cattle ranches and orange groves and I can only imagine how dark it is at night - it's bad enough on a sunny day.) So I'll get down there at dinnertime and have a long, boring evening to kill - Boss won't get to town until the following morning. I am planning an evening of hotel self-indulgence, knitting, a bath, and HBO. Maybe I'll even do my nails...naaah. Cuts into knitting time too much.
