So, I woke up feeling perfectly fine yesterday morning, wrote the post below, and an hour later was felled by a stomach virus that hit me like a bus and pretty much trashed the rest of the weekend. Today I was still feeling poorly, with chills and headache, but made it through the work day, at least the "don't stray more than 10 feet from the potty" phase passed in a day. I'm feeling better now, so I guess it was truly a 24 hour bug. I'm very tired after slogging through the workday, so bedtime will come early. Very early.

Knitting: A few more rows on Bardot, a few more rows on Lo Tech Sweat, and I had to do it, I cast on Bonne Marie's latest eyelet cardi, in black Cotton Fleece bought on Ebay last year, when online shopping was my link to sanity some days. I normally have to go down a needle size to hit gauge and Cotton Fleece is no exception, and I didn't have 4s in dpns, which surprised me because I own a whole lotta needles. I had to order them, since the NSLYS wasn't in the cards. So I cast on the body first, and it's a fast movie-watching project, which is, of course, the only kind I really will bother doing.

I had intended to take pictures of my various WIPs but I felt so thoroughly lousy yesterday I didn't bother, and without natural light everything looks weird. Besides, nothing is in a very exciting visual phase - green, green and black things in various stockinette shapes. You're not missing anything without pictures. I'll post a picture when they're done.
