So we're going to get hit with a freeze this weekend and the pond filter needs cleaning in a big way, and I'll be out there in the cold working on it on Saturday. Work is wearing me out - I feel like I'm futilely shoveling at an avalanche of shit all day. And somebody won the $35 million Florida Lottery, but it wasn't me.

I ordered the Katrina for the Tulip Shawl from Ram Wools - they had it for less than Beehive Wool. Despite the coming freeze, I know it makes more sense to start thinking ahead to warm weather knitting - I need to finish Bardot and ship it by the end of the month, which means I really need to get a move on this evening after the eye doctor, then after that my knitting thoughts must turn to summer things, and my exercise must ramp up for sleeveless dresses. I've been spending less time online and this is a good thing - it's so easy for me to let reading blogs and browsing around the Net eat up an evening. Less mousing, more production, that's the plan.
