I have achieved Tree. Undecorated Tree at the moment, but yesterday Boychild met me at lunch and we hauled two trees in his truck - his payment for going out of his way for Olde Mom was a tree for his place. It's a tall, narrow tree, not the best I've ever had, but pickings were slim and procrastinators can't be choosers. At least it is a healthy and fresh tree, oozing sap and not dropping any needles. It'll do. Girlchild is on her way home now, we may decorate it this evening if we find the energy. We're off to West Palm Beach tomorrow and Friday for a combination of work (me) and shopping (she) and my office Christmas party (both of us) and we'll be back Saturday (Boy is house and critter sitting) so if we don't find the energy to decorate it tonight it will be a nekkid tree until Saturday.

A few more inches on the Kureyon multidirectional scarf for Girlchild - I really like it, it's fun to make, which is a good thing since Girlchild is 5'9" and wanted a LONG scarf. You have to make a hell of a long scarf to make it look long on a tall girl who likes to wear heels. Otherwise not much knitting has been accomplished. I hope to send Girlchild home for her new semester wearing a new hat and scarf, that may be the extent of my holiday knitting accomplishments.
