Remember How I Swore Off Cats?

I'm feeling the urge to fall off the cat wagon. It's been a while since I've had that delightful sound of a cat yakking something up in the middle of the night. Apparently I've missed it.

A co-worker volunteers with the animal shelter, and the vile bitch put a notice on the bulletin board about an adoption event this weekend, because it's Kitten Season and they are ass-deep in kittens. And I approached her and asked if she was indeed responsible for that notice, and she grinned at me (vile bitch) and said yes, she was, and she knows I really want a kitten. And I said nope, nope, nope, hell to the no...except, maybe.

I'm feeling like a baby cat is the right addition to this household.

We shall see. I will fondle the baby cats and see if one snuggles me back and sends me the vibe that he/she is meant to be. It might happen. It might not.

Oh, it will happen - one of the cunning little minxes will work out the right approach for YOU, and you will be a gone goose!

All the best,

I'm so glad you are still blogging. I am normally a dog person. But like you, have had cats in the past. So far, I prefer to satisfy my cat cravings by visiting my daughter's cat, but I will look forward to following your kitten adventures. Something tells me you will be falling in love and bringing one home soon. ChelleC

I can just hear those kittens now - plotting which kit will try which irresistible ploy on Catherine, and as each kit is put down, swapping notes with the others.

They will get you Catherine, one way or another,

Yes, they will get you. Sophie will get a playmate to occupy her days, and you will wonder how the two of you ever got along without the cat.

Hi, First time I am writing. If not a kitten then a teenager/senior.
I adopted from a hoarding case. She has respiratory issues from being 100 cats in a 2 bedroom apt. She is a love bug! Do love my kitties!!
