I feel the cold a comin', coming down the tracks....
I spent a couple of hours with Miss D(isease) yesterday. Her nose ran a bit. Her mother reported today that she was up in the night with her, and that the slightly runny nose is now a full-blown Festival of Snot, and my daughter has it too. They napped today and will both be home sick tomorrow.
And yes, my throat and head hurt, and I feel it coming. It's that feeling you get when you are in a car wreck - you KNOW the crash is inevitable, and all you can do is hold on.
And drink herbal tea and go to bed really, really early. At least that's my plan.
Have you tried Coldeeze? Here is the website:

It is a zinc lozenge that you use at the first sign of a cold, and it really does work---you won't get as sick, and you won't be sick as long. (It is also safe if you have to worry about high blood pressure.) I will warn you that it does taste kind of ick, however, but I think the taste is a worthwhile trade-off.
Brenda.
sleep tight - get well soon.
ReplyDeleteBrenda - I've tried Coldeeze in the past, it didn't seem to make any difference for me, but maybe I took it too late. I woke up this morning feeling better than expected, so maybe there's time to throw the switch and send the train elsewhere.
