I just have to share this.

The New Yorker's endorsement of President Obama.

I just finished reading it and had to share it here. It's a comprehensive and very clear summary of the choice in this election.

I'm back. Posted that earlier and then ran out to do more work stuff.  I don't write about politics myself anymore, I'm all low blood pressure and "Ommm..." but I do still care very much, and when I read this I wanted to share it.

Tomorrow is the Halloween Party at Miss D's school!  I will be there with camera ready. Her mom will be dressed as a witch, doing Halloween with her own classroom, and her dad will be working at the residential school, so we will be Halloweening on three fronts.  Then tomorrow evening is trick-or-treating, and I'm going to tag along with camera in hand.  She'll be a pumpkin, and trick-or-treating with her BFF.

Suddenly remembering the most awesome trick-or-treat team ever, a few years ago; three couples, a bunch of very small children, two large Radio Flyer wagons. One wagon held the kids when they got too tired to walk. The other was filled with ice and beer.  They were the most cheerful, relaxed, patient parents I saw all evening, and their kids were having a great time too.  Too late to buy wagons, but I'm going to remember this for next year.  :-)
