Often I will find that a new moon is flawed in some way, but that's not the case there - this one is a peach. It receives elegant vibrations from both Mars and Saturn and both are in your house of home and family. While a new moon in the second house of income usually points to an increase in salary, it might, in this case, suggest you will see a large profit from the sale of property or a check from a family member who loves you dearly.
Bundle of cash? Like a closing or two? Yes please, Horoscope Lady!
In other news, it's really hot, and I'm contemplating cutting off my hair. The two are only slightly related; I'd be contemplating cutting my hair no matter the weather. I haven't had a haircut in months, mostly because I have no idea what to do with it and it's looking quite healthy, but it's down to my shoulders now and annoying the crap out of me - it falls in my face, it sticks to my neck, it gets in my way and pisses me off, not to mention it's kind of like wearing a scarf in 96 degree weather. Putting it up doesn't work on me, I look and feel dowdy and like I should be cleaning the garage or something. I've never been able to deal with either long hair or long fingernails, like "accessorizing," I always think I'd like to master these girly things, but at 54 I think the odds are remote.
Of course I have no idea what I want to do with my hair, besides get it the hell off my neck and out of my face. Go short and layered again? It's tempting. It dawned on me the other day that this is the longest my hair has been since the year my husband died, when it grew in a similar state of benign neglect, as I had too many other far more pressing issues. So it's at that point again: long, blah, annoying, and in dire need of something. I wish I trusted my FL stylist enough to simply put my head in his hands, so to speak, and let him work his magic - I might actually resort to that. He's good, and I trust him as much as I trust any stylist.
Some impressive looking clouds are building outside my window, and a "tropical wave" is heading our way for the weekend. I'm glad I didn't schedule an open house only to have it rained out. If the weekend is as rainy as predicted, I think I'll spend it gussying up this blog. I won't claim I'll post every day in August (because it's already August 3rd anyway) but I'll aim for 3 times a week instead of Whenever.
