Apparently I just have to threaten his life in writing - "Cattus Assholus?? I'll show that bitch I can be the sweetest old cat EVAR!! Just watch me purr and act like I like her! She'll feel awful about saying those mean things! Hah!!"

The Cat Reads This Blog.
He must, because last night he didn't make a peep, and even slept on the foot of the bed like a member of the family! Normally he stays in the living room at night - he's welcome in the bedroom, the dogs don't care, but he prefers to maintain his air of aloof disgruntlement 24/7. He didn't scream in the night, and he even came to me for petting when we woke up at 6, purring!
Apparently I just have to threaten his life in writing - "Cattus Assholus?? I'll show that bitch I can be the sweetest old cat EVAR!! Just watch me purr and act like I like her! She'll feel awful about saying those mean things! Hah!!""Kiss my furry butt."

My Old Fat Cat tends to holler more now then ever. I think I have it nailed down though. She has almost always been overweight (she'll eat anything) but because of her weight I think she has some joint issues. IMO she hollers when she wants attention and is hurting too much or is too lazy or too 'Cattus Assholus' to come to us to get it. She'll stand next to her empty food dish and screem like someone is pulling her nails out!! LOL! Sometimes, sometimes if I go to her and give herlots of scratching and maybe a good brushing she will settle down and be quiet.
ReplyDeleteHe does love you, but being in a cat body, and all, he sometimes just has to be a Cattus Assholus? Lol
ReplyDeleteAt the ceramic supply, there lives the sweetest small cat, she wants to be petted but will screech/howl if you so much as touch her back. She's very old, and has arthritis.
