Girlchild is 25 years old today.
How the hell did I get old enough to have a 25 year old? I swear, she just finished 4th grade yesterday.
I gush over her on every birthday, but seriously, she's amazing. She's off on a week at Hilton Head tomorrow. Which means, yes, I have Granddog. And a weekend to-do list that makes me tired.
There are compensations - but sometimes I wish I could roll back the clock to just savor those sweet days again.
