New Carpet!

Mmmmm...soft! Dudley can't stop rolling on it.

Murphy is wondering whether he should wear an orange safety vest for visibility.

I am in serious need of a nap. The dogs are already snoring - they watched the installers from the safety of their crates in the living room, yet they are as exhausted as if they'd done the work themselves. It has been an active 24 hours. Yesterday's marathon interview (well over 3 hours, with 5 different people) went well, and the job sounded really good, so we shall see. This morning I had to get up at 5, slug down some coffee, and start moving lamps and various small furniture. The carpet installers were here before 8. I've put the basics back together - the furniture is back in place and the bed is made, and though it is not even 3, I am DONE for the day. Time to retreat to the couch to crochet hexagons, and probably fall asleep. But another major step in the Home Makeover can be crossed off the list. Whee!

(I do have upgraded bedding for house showing purposes, this is the everyday, Dogs Welcome look.)

  1. I have some hot orange yarn you can have in case Murphy decides he's become a tripping hazard!

  4. Murphy's going to have to dye his hair or you'll never find him again!

I am going to need a close up on the lamps and painting in your bedroom. They look lovely from the distance, but I need more.

    XOXO

  5. St. Joseph is on the mantel standing by, waiting to go on duty next to the For Sale sign. And Amie, tomorrow if we have some sun I'll give you details on the lamps and painting. Both were online purchases.

  6. What a beautiful blue room. Luscious! And yes, it will be very hard to see a tiny dog on that carpet, but it's so pretty a color I don't blame you. Could he wear a little hazard light? ;o) J blends right in with our tiles here...
