Random Nostalgia

Today I filled a couple of boxes for Goodwill and one of things for Girlchild, and I'm rounding up family photos for scanning.

So here's a couple of random cutenesses:

Girlchild, at around 2-ish, I'm thinking younger, based on the Baileydog's appearance - he's a big puppy in that picture, so she's probably around 18 months. She gave up a crib shortly after her first birthday so that's a mattress and box spring on the floor. My theory was that a short fall to the carpeted floor was better than a header out of the crib at 3 a.m.

Then, the two cutest kids EVER, around 4 and 2 years old, respectively.

Shared as a distraction from the lack of actual knitting content, and far less depressing than the freeze-damaged landscaping. I AM knitting, I'm just not taking pictures of knitting right now.

Exterior painting starts tomorrow, it was too cold for them to start today. It was wicked nasty cold and WINDY today, really miserable because of the high winds and low humidity. It froze and blasted the moisture out of my landscaping, and thanks to the high winds covering plants was pretty much a waste of time. But we won't dwell on that, we will dwell on the positive things like the decluttering and the exterior painting. It's looking good for listing the house by the end of the month. Must order the St. Joseph statue.

I am seeing the light at the end of the household clutter tunnel, but there is still so much to do. I'll get it done, I have to get it done, and I'm looking forward to life in a serene and de-cluttered little place of my own.

  3. Vi, I'm going to buy one for myself and one for my former boss, who can't afford to keep his house now either. I agree, you need to move. It's just not worth the stress of staying.
