OH, I forgot!

I forgot to rave about my shopping score. I needed a black ink cartridge for my printer, among other things, so I went to my local Target. They were out of the cartridge I needed, so I decided to hop on the highway to go to the SuperTarget that is a whole 20 minutes away, yet I act like it's a big fat hairy deal to go there. I really should get over that, at least once a month or so.

Because I scored. Faithful Readers know that last summer I painted my bedroom a lovely, if not at all selling-the-house-neutral, French Blue, and I love it, and my color scheme so far has evolved to blue, cream, and Granny Smith Apple green. It makes me happy. If a buyer loves the house but hates the blue, I'll call my beloved painters and ask them to change it to whatever the hell the buyer wants, I'll even do it before closing once the money goes hard. Otherwise, the room is blue, it looks gorgeous, love it or paint it your ownself. So Target made me very happy today, I was wandering randomly through the bedding and stumbled upon a queen-sized comforter in a lovely perfect apple green - for Thirty Bucks on clearance. It came home with me. I love it when a vision comes together.

I do hope this sort of karma carries over into the work wardrobe I need. I have no downtown appropriate clothing, and I need everything.

OH! I forgot to mention that L has a new job and starts Monday, good firm, I know of them but don't know them, and the money is right and the job sounds great. So there is hope that something of that sort might come my way. As much as I bitch about FL, I am still on the fence about going through the enormous hassle of relocating several states away - I may do it, but if I can find a decent job in my pay range, AND sell the house and move into a really NICE apartment (I have a few targets in mind) and could start putting the money that I am currently spending on home maintenance into my 401K, I may stay a while longer. Or not. Who the hell knows?
