save a lot of time updating by stealing from an email I sent a friend yesterday, but the damn system has been changed again and I can't get into my work email without finding the latest of the series of "Look! A New Improvement!" emails that I probably deleted, to figure out why the hell Outlook needs to be configured all over again. I'm sure that ain't right.
Short version. They stabilized my father and sent him home yesterday. My mother called me twice, overwhelmed. I called the primary and asked, nicely, why the fuck he hadn't talked about hospice services. He said, "You're right! That would be a good idea!" Dear Jesus, I have to tell the doctor this? Then he said that he'd discuss it with them on his next appointment in TWO WEEKS.
I said, "Two weeks? TWO. WEEKS?" and let that hang there for a moment.
His office called, they want to see him tomorrow.
I'll go over there this weekend.
Meanwhile, back in work world, stuff is imploding all over the damn place.
Interesting week to do the Day in the life thing.
doh! what a dork of a primary! and what else would you expect on 6/6/06? (evil chuckle)
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised. They often have to be prompted. Remember: the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't copy, cut and paste work to minimize the effort of blogging? I don't have a blog so I am unfamiliar with the mechanics of posting.
ReplyDeleteUm, as I said, the email is on my office server and I couldn't get into it because they've changed the remote access path.
