I'm torn. Tuscany. Or Lakeview. It's a coin toss. Help me call it. I love both, both work with my wardrobe, the yarn is freakin' expensive so I'm not going to buy both - at least not at the same time.
I agree both ARE beautiful, and I personally would chose Tuscany. It depends on which goes better with your coloring and which you like best. Can't wait to see it being knit up!
Totally Lakeview. The Tuscany is pretty, but the colors will be far more mixed up when knit - the Lakeview colors blend into each other, the Tuscany will be a bit jarring. You'll notice pooling and flashing a lot more with Tuscany, it will look far more natural with the Lakeview.
I like Lakeview better, too. But you know? go for Tuscany and then you'll have a perfect excuse to buy Lakeview later if you don't like Tuscany. Then Tuscany can become a giftie Clapotie...damn. I REALLY TRULY hate the name of that thing. really. it's twee. and pretentious. there, I said it.
I think I'll go with the Lakeview. I have the same thought in the back of my mind about Tuscany and oddly pooling colors (though I suppose that's a risk with any of the higher contrast combinations). There are just too many nice colors to choose. I started thinking, "Icehouse...."
Both are beautiful, though if I'd have to choose one it would probably be Lakeview.

ReplyDeleteBoth could work with my coloring. I'm generally a Lakeview kinda gal, but Tuscany is so dramatic I think it would be striking.
ReplyDeleteBut Lakeview is My Colors. So I'm torn.
ReplyDeleteI like Tuscany better, but only because the shawl I started last summer and never finished was close to the colors in Lakeview.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous--Lion and Lamb-- YUM!!
I'm not feeling the Tuscany myself--something about the combination jars a bit. The Lakeview calls me.
ReplyDeleteI originally thought definitely Tuscany but on reflection, changed my mind to Lakeview. But both are lovely!
ReplyDeleteI vote for Lakeview. Absolutely beautiful!
