But our President doesn't believe in Global Warming. Science isn't science to these people, it's all "theory" - their vocabularies don't extend to "scientific theory," because it's a concept over their pointy heads, therefore to them the term means, "Just something somebody thunk up." You can ignore it, because it's a "theory." And their people pull theories out of their asses, like the "Welcomed as liberators!" theory in Iraq. Whoopsie, that one turned out to be a lie, didn't it?
So scientific theory is suspect because they, in their hearts of hearts, know they are pulling all of their own theories out of their think tank asses. They fear that their theories are bullshit, and a theory is a theory, scientific theory has the word theory in it, therefore scientific theory is bullshit. Welcome to the new world order.
It's 8:30 p.m. on January 29th, in Orlando FL, and it's 70 degrees. That's not a theory. And I've lived here over 20 years, and this is freakish, and the freakish is becoming the norm. Just saying.
it rained yesterday (in NEBRASKA!), and i've been seeing geese going north for weeks now. um, this is weird? so much for the sky high gas bills because it was supposed to be a hideous winter. it is weird

ReplyDeleteWe used to get a visit here in Tennesse every year from our friend who was a transplant to Montreal. This year, no visit. I called and asked why and he said, not so bad there, hardly any snow. In Montreal?!? Yeah, just another ridiculous unproven theory.
ReplyDeleteIn Kansas City, it was 50 degrees today and tomorrow will be 56. So here too, we've had no real winter. Only 1 snowstorm so far, and all of January has been unseasonably warm. This is really weird. Oh, and did I mention that we had moths flying around the front porch light last night? Moths. In January. Yes, and my allergies are starting as if it were April. Strange. ReplyDeleteIt's not usually frezzin' much here in coastal SC but we now have hummingbirds wintering over in my neighborhood. The first one recoreded was in 2001.
