Santa Baby, slip some Koigu under the tree, for me...this came in today's mail. Oh, the dilemma - a lighter scarf from Koigu, or a Clapotis?

I am normally a purple girl through and through -- and the yarn on the right is lovely -- but I'm totally drawn to the green. I'd make a Clapotis from that half, if it were me. :-) Enjoy, either way! What a sweetie Santa is.

  2. I'm not sure KPPPM has enough heft for a Clapotis - I have a handpainted yarn I bought at MDS&W that is intended for the Clapotis, but now I'm tempted to do a lighter something in the KPPPM. "Santa" was a joke, I ordered this yarn as a reward to myself for slogging through a day of throwing stuff out!

  3. That yarn is so beautiful it almost brought a tear to my eye. Whatever you make with it will be gorgeous.

I always say we're our own best Santa. :)

Hmmm, maybe you're right on the heft. But whatever you do with it will be gorgeous.
Yeah, I knew Santa was a joke. ;-) But it's a good cover!

  5. I'll try it on my credit card company - "It's not MY charge, it was Santa's!" Hmmm...
