Okay, I'm so disappointed

by the response to the Frappr map in the sidebar, I'm going to try to shame you people into adding a pin. This is embarrassing, and it's taking up real estate in the sidebar for no good reason.

C'mon, is it because I'm a bitch? A Democrat? I am both, of course, but you don't have to like me. You don't even have to use your real name - use a Yahoo email addy, no photo, just your real location. My Sitemeter map shows regular readers in lots of places. (You, with the DOD URL - I do hope you're here for the knitting or the dogs.)

Go add a pin. No comments or photos necessary, though they are of course welcome. Especially you semi-regulars in other countries. You're hurting Murphy's feelings.

I think I might be your DoD person ;) Can't post from work though. Definitely here for the knitting, and the reality check. Only Dem in an office of gung-ho shrub lovers. Thanks for keeping me sane.

  4. Welcome, DoD person! I see some interesting addresses in my visitor list, but that one caught my eye. ;-)

  5. Okay, okay, but I'm not being shamed into it, I just need to support another Democratic bitch blogger.

Doesn't Wendy work for the DOD? She's never said but one can sort of extrapolate...I forget her blog's name, 'scuse.

  7. No, I am just lazy but I went ahead and added a pin to your map. And so what that you are a bitch, most of us are at some point.

  8. It doesn't like my computer--the damned map doesn't even come up. I suppose there's a patch or something I could add, but I'm too lazy/busy to look into it.

  9. Proof of the Power of Positive Bitching - the population of that map doubled overnight. I should have whined a week ago! You are forgiven/excused if you can't get the damn thing to work or you comment here all the time anyway - I'm trying to lure out the many fascinating lurkers I see in the site counter.

  10. Caroline, I know Wendy works in DC but wasn't sure about DOD. Funny story about that - my cousin works for the DOJ and used to email me at work. My last employer wasn't in any trouble (as far as I know) but the industry was under scrutiny. It struck me as hilarious to think that They Who Watched Our Email at Work were seeing flurries of email to the DOJ from a visibly disgruntled employee. I hope a few bricks were shit, but we were just talking family and swapping jokes.

  11. Or is it "bricks were shat?" Too pretentious for my calloused ear somehow. :-)

  12. Knitti-me - I just added myself to your map. Yes, I'm guilty of that which I am guilting others about.... :-)
