Let me tell you, even here in Australia, we spent most of the weekend watching CNN in horror, unable to believe that any of this was happening in modern day America. It made NO look like it was being handled by a third world country. There is no excuse for the way the people were treated.
There is no excuse, and there will be a lot of questions about how it got this out of control. It's just outrageous and inexplicable - last year we had 4 hurricanes in FL, I was hit by 3 of them, and the response was immediate. The explanations and excuses coming out of Washington are blatant lies, too.
