No, it's not a cable pattern. Thanks to Dianna at Infinite Stitch for this fabulous link: Cross Left. As a somewhat "lefty" Catholic by modern standards, who gets her ideas about what Catholicism should be in practice from people like Dorothy Day and Thomas Merton, as well as JPII, who is apparently on the rocket docket to sainthood, I was very cheered to find a link to a Catholic group that took issue with this CAFTA crap and called out the Catholics who have forgotten what Jesus taught, and who think "culture of life" begins at conception and ends at birth. As my crusty old dad is fond of saying, if Jesus appeared before "His followers" tomorrow, they wouldn't recognize him and would nail him up all over again. Cool site, definitely one on the must read list.
