The Benadryl worked its magic on the fire ant bites, although I know they are there, they are not itching and burning like crazy. I'm afraid they'll flare up after I take a shower, though, that seems to excite them. I went out in daylight and tried to figure out where I was standing and and couldn't find the mound. Must add Patrol Yard with Amdro to the insanely long to-do list for this weekend. I have to clean the pond filter and do a lot more rearranging in the house, too. Looks like a second trip in search of clothes won't be happening.

I'm hoping that once the kitchen and backyard are under control I can more or less take the rest of the summer off from frenzied home improvement, but I'm still a couple of weekends, at least, from that goal. I can't believe June is almost over. And now it looks like work will be heating up, but in a good way.

Sorry this is such a non-knitting, non-crocheting blog right now but I have too many other things on my mind right now, knitting is a few rows of a felted bag before bed. I've promised myself that I will spend some quality time on the couch in front of a movie this weekend, and that is probably the only knitting or crocheting time I'll get. I hope to finish the brown felted bag and the second striped felted pouch, (in purples and reds, I really like the colors). God knows when I'll get the zipper in the first felted pouch, it is sitting on the bookcase in my bedroom awaiting attention. I am surrounded by things needing my attention 24/7. Not that I am really complaining, I like the feeling of a full, busy life, but at some point I need to work in a weekend at the beach, watching the ocean and drinking something from a blender.
