I'm violating my policy of not showing faces on the blog with permission of the owner of the face. One of The Girlchild's friends at school is a talented filmmaker and obviously also a damn fine photographer. He took a bunch of pictures of the Girlchild - they just went outside and took pictures, these aren't studio shots (that's how good this kid is!) and I'm blown away by them, so I had to share a couple of pictures of my daughter:




Needless to say, the family will be getting prints.
