I'm too old to get up at five-thirty and stay up til midnight. It's fun, really, but, and I know this is as much a shock to you as it is to me, I'm not 20 anymore. I still can't quite grasp that concept.

Not much blogging, but Major Shopping, too much eating, and yes, actual knitting progress - the right front of the Lo-Tech Sweat is done and sleeve one is in progress. Girl is off to spend the evening in sibling bonding with her big brother. They haven't seen each other since Christmas and need to catch up. This is so very okay with me, because I really want to be in bed at 9, and I'm so happy to have kids who actually like each other as friends.

I didn't score much on the shopping trip, but I did find a cute pair of high-heeled sandals that are incredibly comfortable despite the 3-inch heels. I tried them on 5 hours into the shopping trip and they felt great - if that's not a comfort test, I don't know what is. One cannot have too many pairs of cute high-heeled sandals in Florida. Clothing shopping was a bust, nothing thrilled me and what seemed okay didn't fit right. Girlchild did fine, she needed go-to-class t-shirts and a couple of going out sort of tops and came home with both.

Knitting content to resume shortly.
